Applications are now open for the Write Fresh Retreat, June 1-10, 2020 in the rustic art-village Kaptaruni, Belarus with mentor Harold Rhenisch.
Enhance your writing skills within the charm and ease of traditional hospitality in an artists’ abode where what’s modern and crisp is nested in the rustic. Whether your path through the forest follows Leschii, the ancient man of the trees, the eternal birth and rebirth of Orthodox tradition, or the startling images of the northern orient that inspire modern and ancient Slavic culture, you will find your path here.
Explore hands-on techniques, structural tricks, transformative revision methods and so much more to unleash your storytelling. Harold Rhenisch, the Write Fresh 2020 instructor has published thirty books of poetry, fiction, memoir, history, and environmental science, and has edited over 100 books of fiction, nonfiction, history, memoir, drama, spirituality and poetry for writers across North America and in Europe. His website is here.
The retreat offers eight spots for each retreat this year; the cost is $1500USD for the early bird rate ($300 deposit is made by March 1st) including accommodation, meals, yoga, workshops and work-in-progress consultations with a guest author, quiet writing time and sightseeing. Acceptance is based on the strength and commitment of the writing sample. There is no application fee. Get more info at writefresh.ink
